DPD still not managed to deliver, so I'm tackling the other car meanwhile.

The Crossgolf has the usual seized rear brake piston and gets new calipers on both sides.

Bunch of rusty bolts that haven't moved in a long time got successfully undone with the help of Mr. Nutbuster and my new telescoping ratchet spanner.

Deployed my wooden assistant to hold down the brake pedal for me.

The sun came out and its actually nice!

Bunch of rusty crusty bolts being undone on a rear left suspension. A ratchet spanner is in there somewhere with barely room to swing despite having first removed a support arm below it to even get it in at all.
New and old brake caliper, top side. They look identical apart from rust and the new one has no VWAG logo. A little piece of metal pipe is attached to the top.
Same two brake calipers, other side. The old one has a damaged rubber bellow exposing the piston to air, road salt and corrosion. An open ring spanner is laying around next to it.
Two pieces of wood wedged between seat front and brake pedal, holding the pedal down. A spare piece that was the wrong length is also present. The rubber floor mat is dirty.
