Uhhh okay. I did it. I replaced the battery in my phone. I hated every minute.

I removed the glass backplate and it shattered... Because it's glass... A completely unsuitable material for a backplate. And then I got a million tiny screws out. And then I had to peel off the old battery, which was terrifying.

Plugging in the new battery socket was nearly impossible. It was so small!

And now, reassembled, the shattered backplate is poking out a half millimeter because the glue is no longer set. Or I did something wrong.

But it's done.

New battery. Let's see if it lasts as it should.
