Do you like self-checkout?

Aug 27, 2026, 10:01 AM@thibaultmol I particularly like that I can pack things up at my own pace, rather than trying to match the pace at which the cashier scans.
Wynkewynke@mendeddrum.orgAug 27, 2026, 10:25 AM@Anke @thibaultmol This is sometimes a reason to prefer cashier and sometimes for self checkout for me. It depends on where there is more space for all my groceries, in some shops it's at the counter with an actual cashier and in others it's at self checkout.
Coffee (Team CW)Coffee@toot.cafeAug 27, 2026, 10:33 AM@thibaultmol I avoid them. I'm not going to do someone's job for free so the shop can fire those people. Additionally, most of these things don't accept cash around here.
