It's that time of year again. Pumpkin spice latte time? No. Well, yes, but it's also time to ......
Support the next generation of women in technology!
The Women in CompSci and Eng (WiCSE) chapter at Cal State Fullerton (CSUF) is looking to fund Student Study Group Leaders.
If that's enough for you I'll just drop the donation link here, but read on if you want more details...
CSUF is part of the Cal State University system - less famous that the UC system, serving a different purpose/community.
CSU schools provide education to returning students, and under-served students. CSUF helps lots of students from minority communities, many "first to college" in their families.
The CSU system is being hit with budget cuts, and has eliminated all tutors in ECS. Your contributions will help WiCSE meet that need.
Student attendance at WiCSE sessions has tripled in the past year.
And we all know how important supporting students with tutoring and mentoring can be to helping them get through college and succeed in their careers.
Any help you can provide to these future women engineers is much appreciated.
(And boosts are appreciated too 😃)
