I just wrote about the future of Open Source in a world where coding is "free".

I've been writing software for 30 years and AI generated code doesn't scare me or upset me.

I always told people I can teach someone the mechanics of writing code in like 6 months and they will be amazing.

The hardest part of writing software is knowing what to build, for whom, to solve what problem.

What's the competitive edge if software is free? I see two paths.

I might have made something horrible.

I re-thought what and object oriented system could look like in the world of AI and came up with The Ask Portocol.

I then created a system to see how far I can take the idea. I would love to hear people's feedback. Also it's open source so you can contribute.

Fuck man, I hadn't considered if the mad man will use nukes tonight. No way right?

B52 Bombers just took off from Britain. More war crimes about to happen.

It's hilarious that the president of the United States did a QVC ad for Tesla for an hour.

I've talked to an AfD supporter and they affectionately called the AfD the Nazi party. They just won about 20% of the vote in Germany. WTF is happening over there?

We have lost 73% of wildlife between 1970 and 2020 according to the Living Planet Index. Mourning the loss of nature is also mourning the loss of ourselves.

Biden dropped out. Now all we need is Trump to do the same.

I noticed that when I give them treats. If I give a treat to the oldest, she waits for the other dog to get her treat before eating hers.

Our two dogs share a food bowl. They seem to have a sense of fairness and only eat one half when the other isn't hungry. Has anyone else seen this? Has a sense of fairness been studied in animals? #dogs #pets #science
