I'm in Canada & we frequently refer to USA as our basement meth lab neighbours who we cannot help much...nor be able to move away from, geographically. 
Nov 5, 2026, 4:34 AM@PhoenixSerenity @jaystephens For me, it's more about the scale - just so much attention/coverage - and how little, in comparison, neighboring countries gets. It's too skewed.
for Japan, why so much attention to Texas, or Kansas, and not Taiwan or Indonesia. So little coverage of elections or protests there.
