I ordered 500g of courgettes. I got 500g of courgette, maybe suitable for use as a blunt instrument for some purpose, maybe less suitable for its actual purpose (adding fried slices of it to cheese sandwiches).

This is a *thread of three* polls, BTW. I wondered about editing the first post to mention that, but I felt there were enough instructions in it already. Please vote in all three!
Feel free to boost them in the interests of . . . people always say things like "a more representative sample" but I don't think that's necessarily true. In the interests of a bigger one and a less random result, really.
WITHOUT THEORISING about the grammar (at least until after voting), which of the following seem the most natural to you?
Please also take it as read that "creep someone out" is a valid verb. People use it. So it exists. I'm not interested in whether it should, but in how it behaves.
If there's any conflict between what you think "should" feel right and what does feel right, go for the one that does.
Vote for all that feel naturally worded:
Bring back þe letter þ. How can you þrow out þe only rune in your alphabet?
Also bring back ð. But ðis time, except in very common words like þe which look nice þe oðer way round, don't treat ðem as interchangeable. Use ð for þe voiced one and þ for þe unvoiced one, like ðey do in Icelandic.
Enoȝ is enoȝ.
Snooperisms.
Agranams.

Important usage question.
Don't forget there's a nearly total lunar #eclipse tonight, assuming you're somewhere the moon isn't already eclipsed by cloud. 03:34–06:52 BST, so 02:34–05:52 GMT.
@guyverhofstadt It's hard for people to follow you if you don't wrap your posts in a #CW saying something like "EU politics". There's a tradition of doing that here, so people can read the amount of #politics they want when they want instead of needing to stay away from political accounts. #accessibility
• Decide which replies by members of a list are displayed in its feed
• Talk about a hashtag without thereby tagging the post with it ("Unlisted" achieves this)
• When typing, see hashtag suggestions which say how often each is used, and choose the best one
• Read a hashtag and not find it full of spam
• See popup suggestions for emojis while typing. For example :-) suggests 🙂 😉 😃 .
This isn't an introductory post. It's a post to say I haven't written one.
But I've been here three whole days now, and I've been noticing more and more features #Mastodon has that my other online home doesn't. I'm accumulating them in a thread which I'm about to pin below this one, and adding to the list as I find myself using new ones.
They're all available in the basic web interface, which is all I've used so far. I believe some apps don't make everything in my list available.
• bookmark a sort-of DM
• write a sort-of DM as a threaded reply to someone's post
• have more than one pinned post
• mute someone just for a specified period
• place a note for myself on someone's profile
• filter posts without completely hiding them, so they're placed behind a message of my choosing
• see notifications grouped by category (useful if there are a lot)
• set how an image is cropped for preview
• hide long annoying lists behind a handy "show more" button
• create a poll that allows multiple selections
• view posts chronologically, knowing the system won't periodically switch me to a horrible algorithmically generated order
• access my favourites without having to go via my profile page
• customise the info fields on my profile
• verify the link to my site
• write excessively long posts
• obsessively edit a posted post
• favourite a sort-of DM
• type timtfj.com or https://timtfj.com depending on whether I want a link
• set the visibility of an individual post anywhere from totally private to totally public
• set the language of an individual post to the one I actually use in it
• read replies to health communicators without having to brace myself for blocking an army of trolls
• post audio files direct from a mobile browser
• browse a timeline of "everyone", like I could in 2008
