Folks, I also hate finding out that something I do supports causes I am against.

It actually happens a lot. It sucks.

But you know what I don't do? I don't get angry at the person who informed me. In fact, I *thank* them for, you know, helping me out.

I stop directing my money to those terrible causes.

This is pretty basic stuff here.
