I love my violin instructor. One big thing is that when correcting physical stuff, she always asks if it's okay to enter my personal space. I'm perfectly fine with it in that context, but the request is very appreciated. She's also been playing for 20 years, so she's always able to answer my off-the-wall questions.

I'm about 70% sure she's #AcuallyAutistic (kind knows kind), but she didn't make a comment on my awesome autism shirt.

You might say I'm doing pretty well. Not to brag, but after 2 months I'm on song #2 in the Suzuki book, so I'm past Twinkle Twinkle Little Star.

I don't think I've mentioned it, but I bought 2 violins a little while back for $175 -- both are over 100 years old. I'm going to sell one of them for a nice multiple of half the price I paid. That was a damn fine deal.
