puffball restored

i walked 4 miles to get spa day equipment and then cleaned the whole house and then gave myself a spa day and now I'm going to go to bed on time

Also if I anticipated this question better I would have gave a much better answer tbh 💀 or I could have told her I’d like some time to think before I answered, but I panicked a little lol. I think it was an okay explanation for a 5 year old. If I could redo the question I’d probably say something more about how gender has many options and there are all kinds of presentations out there. Or something a little more about how gender is assigned. But in 5 year old terms lol.

It’s literally that easy. Also shoutout to her bisexual DND millennial parents for being the kind of parents that let me have conversations like this with their kids. In all of my years of babysitting navigating queerness has been the hardest part and it shouldn’t have to be if parents weren’t cowards.

5 year old I’m babysitting: why are you a boy?
Me: :surprised_pikachu: oh boy
Me: what do you mean by that?
5 year old: you’re a boy but you sound like a girl.
Me:…well
Me: when I was your age, I guess I was a girl. And I was told that I’m a girl. But it wasn’t how I wanted to be treated. And when I got older I realized that I’m not a girl and I want to be treated like a boy, even if people think I’m a girl.
5 year old: and you ARE a boy.
Me: yes, I am.
5 year old: okay. Can I show you something?
*proceeds to show me a picture on the fridge of her at Disney land with cinderella*

#looptober 07 it counts as a loop if i play the same thing a few times live on a synth. right. right

"yes coworker, it is absolutely hilarious that someone generated a picture of a cat in a suit playing ping pong" i will be saying through gritted teeth

omg theyre planning a girls night out at my work which sounds really fun except that the venue looks awful. Like I'm actually thinking of bailing because the thought of being surrounded by ai art wallpapers as far as the eye can see is gonna make me sick
