This week's #Satisfactory recap is up, partly about my Computerworks progress and partly about the new Satisfactory Tools. (It's neat!)

It's been an entire week since the last time I poked at my solo #Satisfactory save, and I sort of got bogged down on some "how" and "where" regarding the 20/min Computers site. Given that I also intend to make ~140/min Turbofuel at the same time, putting some thought in seemed appropriate actually. We'll see how it turns out.

Also: Practiced placing & routing paths around truck stations. I've improved!

What just happened over at PGE? My UPSese all went "click" for a moment, and checking with my coworkers (strewn about the PDX metro area and beyond) I saw reports that our Beaverton office and our tech in Salem had blips at the same time.

I can't tell if this is metaphor or farce that's come to life, or some bizarre admixture thereof.

A light week for progress on my solo #Satisfactory save, but I still made *some* progress: https://greyduck.net/journal/5226

Eked out some solo save #Satisfactory progress today, grogginess and all. (Did I concuss myself early this morning or not? Eh.)

The Plastic and Rubber for my impending Computers site is under way, and I'm experimenting with some slightly different ways to build around Refineries than I usually use. Next up: Turning the waste product into POWER. (Hopefully.)

Woke up in pain at 3:30 this morning because I'd just bashed my head into the wall at speed. Why would I do this? Because in my dream I was preparing to flee from a large creature's attack.

Why my brain decided I needed to take action with my actual body is anyone's guess.

Gonna be a long day.

Managed some solo save #Satisfactory progress: I had to rearrange my truck stations because trucks are more finicky than originally expected, but in spite of that I completed the 630/min Quickwire facility. Next up? Computers!

Eh, sure, why not. Decided to do the #My9Albums thing, which is far too few albums to really chart my music-enjoyment background but, fine, whatever.

(To be clear: I'd probably Block an actual official account of that company too. But I know better than to think such an account would ever in a zillion years follow ME.)

Sure, new follow, I'm sure that you with your two followers are absolutely the account of the emerald failson's rocket-making company. Lemme just find my You're A Special Account button...

Today's weekly #Satisfactory write-up covers a moment of self-inflicted scope creep and the factory which resulted from it. Also, more vehicle stuff. Enjoy, won't you please?

This evening's #Satisfactory solo save progress mostly involved figuring out how & where to build a lot (eventually) of Computers, then getting some roadwork done toward that goal. Also, scanning LOTS of hard drives to get the alts I need.

Along the way, as I was clearing rocks to get at a power slug, a photo-and-meme opportunity arose.

This week's #Satisfactory write-up compares trucks to tractors and laments that 1.2 didn't fix *all* of the wheeled vehicle bugs... or rather, it solved a bunch and introduced new ones.

Got in some solo #Satisfactory save progress during my non-Fire-Emblem game time this past couple of days. Main accomplishment? Packaged Fuel, plus Fabric and Smokeless Powder, all connected to a truck-based materials transportation system.

Trucks are weird, and I'm not 100% sure I like them... though they're vastly improved over the pre-1.2 days.

On the one hand, the falling trees and other wind damage is never a good thing, and I hope nobody was hurt in the storm that came through overnight.

On the other hand, it feels like we've had our miniscule allotment of seasonal Actual Weather Event and now it's back to sunny and dry and tame.
