    Kalimantan (Borneo) is burning.

Here’s the haze from my home in Singapore

Here’s what it looks like at the source. My heart goes out to the people of Kalimantan and Sumatra who are let down by their government and by Singaporean and Malaysian companies which are complicit in destroying the environment and their health.

Don’t even know the AQI / PM2.5 (probably too horrific)

@skinnylatte It has been happening for years. Burning off forests for farming and commercial use has been a curse in Indonesia. And no one does anything. Too much corruption is part of the cause.

@skinnylatte@hachyderm.I hope everyone has access to respirator masks and indoor air filtration.

But to know that the jungles are burning; that precious habitat is being destroyed.

The sadness, the rage, this could have gone so differently.
