Just heard somebody described as the “shadow welfare spokesman” on BBCR4 saying that some people should not get full universal credit. If you reduce universal credit any further people will starve. It is barely enough to eat and certainly insufficient to cook or heat your house. It gives you just enough for food - nothing more.
If it is reduced, people will starve to death.

We’ve been reading responses to our posts and for a few weeks have noted an increase toward negativity. Of course people don’t need to be deferential to us and we are liberal in what we accept. However, we do worry that consistent levels of negativity --from mild snark to misinformation-- in our replies prevent more positive interactions from happening.
