I'm a lost cause for the vote scolders - nothing you can say or do will get me to vote for your bloodsoaked genocidal party. But trans people telling you they won't vote for transphobic Dems are doing you a favor and giving the party time to course correct. Yet they're offended that we even speak up. All the how dare you's just add insult to injury. It's so fucking dehumanizing.

And the frustrating thing is if there is significant trans voter abstention, or even the perception of it, it's probably just going to make things worse. It will provoke mistrust and bitterness from Dem supporters that we could be stuck dealing with for years. Even though we're the ones being wronged.
We're either ignored, or resented. There's no winning.
