Just checked the tracking status of a package from Japan with a figure that got posted in April (surface shipping) - just to learn that there was a delivery attempt last Monday and it’s waiting for me at the post office.
I was home that day and am quite sure that nobody rang the doorbell. Well it’s preferred for both sides to not have me pay customs fees at the door (in cash because the delivery guys don’t get equipped with digital payment devices). But please put a delivery notice in my post box or notify my known DHL account by e-mail 😩
