[Continued] That kind of trivialisation or playing down alone might cause years of psychological trauma, apart from the actual trauma. The only way my fall was ever brought up was around the slight scar on my cheek that kept reminding my family of what had happened, and I never even got a chance to explain the problems experiencing surgery while aware caused me.
