Which one of the following would you prefer to listen to on the radio?

Happy Coming Out Day to all

Here's my music choice, which was groundbreaking at the time in 1978.
Of course the record was banned by the BBC. 🙄

I'm going to give the kind social instance a try.

So I'm swapping over this account to be my alt-account while I'm using the kind dot social one as my main account.

Oh look! Where have we seen this before?

Dodgy dossier V2. 😡

" A long-awaited Government report says the British public must "actively prepare" for war on UK soil - along with a string of chilling warnings."

Do they think that we all fell out of trees?

Now this development looks very interesting.

It is an anti-AI scraper tool for protecting your music.

The researchers at the University of Tennessee are apparently planning to make 'HarmonyCloak' available as a free tool this year.

I will be watching this one with interest:

Seeing your new display name has now got me wondering:

Crash Bandicoot implies the existence of Crash Pademelon and and other Crash marsupials ...

Absolutely gobsmacked to see victim blaming on here, aimed at cyclists because because 'they haven't been on courses about how to cycle safely with two-ton trucks' or some such drivel. 😡

I gave up cycling years ago because it is just not safe to cycle in the motor vehicle centric UK.

In enlightened countries cyclists and motor vehicles are separated.

A lovely episode and very appropriate to remember Helen by.

Calling Reaper DAW users.

I completed the first cut of my modification of the 'FreaperBlue' Reaper theme by Freppo.

I've called it 'studio blue'.

If you like it, you can freely download it from Reaper Stash here:

https://stash.reaper.fm/theme/3048/studio_blue_v0.5.ReaperThemeZip

Please let me know your feedback, negative or positive, if you do download it.

Here's a couple of updated screenshots.

Here's another self-confessed #Zionist and #GenocideDenier for y'all to block.

Note that they are ready to smear anybody who speaks out against the Israeli state's war-crimes as a 'Hamas supporter'.

Hachyderm.io has really gone down the pan. 🙄

It was time to put a new set of strings on my guitar before I started putting down some guitar tracks for my last three songs.

I took the opportunity to polish the frets as they were a little rough out of the box, also to clean and oil the fingerboard.

After taking off the old strings, I masked off wooden sections of the fingerboard with electrical 'insulting' tape 😉

I polished the frets with a multi-surface nail buffer. These are great for polishing frets (as well as nails) as they are not too abrasive.
Unlike me. 😆

The next step was to remove all the tape and clean the fingerboard and edge binding with meths.

I use synthetic 'bore oil' (used by clarinet and woodwind players) to oil the fingerboard.
I prefer it to the expensive, scented nonsense that is available.

After wiping off any excess oil, it was time for the new set of strings - D'Addario XLs 46 - 10.

Ibanez's quick change tailpiece makes changing strings a doddle.

Et voilà
