For some reason I’ve had this stuck in my head all day

Know that feeling when you spot someone just on the other side of the crossing and they are also on their bike waiting for the light to change and you think maybe you recognize them? And then when you cross they go "Hi Morten" and you reply "Hi!" way too enthusiastically and you still have no idea who it was?

Tesla should add the rocket boosters to the cyber truck so it looks even dumber when it goes off road and gets stuck in the mud

Why is the media so worried about the Pope having lung cancer? Popes die. They are all very old when they start the job and then they die (apart from that one guy who was clever enough to say fuck this shit). Then there's a whole hubbub about picking the new Pope and everybody loves it. Happens more often than new James Bonds. Media is really into it. So actually... when the media is really focused on the Pope having cancer is that because they are celebrating? That's pretty sick (derogatory).

You can just say "Tea, Earl Grey, Hot" as you pour yourself a cup of tea. Try it. It's great.

@Scmbradley Amazing that the default setting on the enterprise is cold Earl Grey.

This year's El Niño event is moving into record territory, with the daily Oceanic Niño Index (ONI) tying the record previously set during the 2015/2016 super-El Niño. My latest over at Carbon Brief: https://www.carbonbrief.org/analysis-super-el-nino-reaches-remarkable-all-time-record

I'm listening to the new Neil Young album and... Does he sing like a Muppet or do Muppets sing like Neil Young?

Frieren: Beyond User Journey's End

Almost every concern people have about social media relates to the behaviour of either Meta, Twitter or TikTok.

No-one gives a fuck about Mastodon, partly because we’d struggle to find enough people for a five a side football match.

And yet the relatively well-behaved, self-regulating amateurs have to comply with the laws meant to deal with companies owned by multiple billionaires.
