He should have played off this AI slop take on Peter Watts' Echopraxia as meta satire and it would have been hailed as a genius adaptation and become an instant cult classic.

@deech But seeing a real /Echopraxia/ on the screen would be quite something. Give me a tame tornado, and I’m sold.
Looks like they went for a backstory of no interest.
