POTA activation of DE-0822 in the morning. The 20 meter band worked pretty good with 2 DX contacts over the big pond. 40m was a mess - fading signals and the city's QRM level made it very challenging to get weak stations into the log.

Equipment as usual - Yaesu FT-891 (running 75 watts), groundplane vertical antenna, Eremit 12Ah LiFePo4 battery.

A lush green park with a large meadow and trees under a cloudy sky. In the foreground on the left is a bench which holds my amateur radio equipment. On the right is my ground plane vertical antenna with its orange wire radials.

A world map with dots for every contact I made today, connected with lines to my location. There are 2 dots on the US east coast, Russia, Finland, Greece, Spain, Italy and more European countries.
