Did another POTA activation in my beloved forest DE-1041 to test my new endfed antenna at 100 watts (works great) and the iFTx app on the iPad for portable digimode operations with less weight. Well ... it works, but the UI design and general workflow is not too great.

Tried 15m today, but had only one QSO with KN4SWS (cheers mate!). Drove home after about 2 hours with 54 contacts in the log (40 meters did it again).

A forest scene with large green trees in the background and a fallen tree log which serves as a bench to hold my radio gear and my gravel bike. In front of the tree, the ground is covered with fallen leaves and dirt.
A close-up picture of my Yaesu FT-891 transceiver with its orange 3D-printed guardrails and the ATU-100 antenna tuner next to it, both placed on a small foldable table. The display of the transceiver shows that it is tuned to 7117 kHz, which was the frequency I was using during activation. On top of the transceiver sits a small orange and white fox plushie, looking curious and friendly at the camera. Some green trees can be seen in the background.
A picture of my black Tasmanian Tiger backpack with all the radio gear stored inside. The fox plushie is peeking out of the zipper, looking at the camera.
