That's a lot of explosions for the first twenty minutes. Definitely trying to compensate for the writing. Yikes. The dialogue is especially bad.

And where is this plot going in the second act? Does this movie even know what it wants to be? Tons of action, pointless and meaningless but action all the same. Everything else is feeling pretty random.
