Hey there. I'm SBK. Here's my #introduction.
I'm an aging hiki, LGBTQIA+ anarcho-syndicalist, AuDHD, FOSS enthusiast, and a chronic hobby-hopper. Most of my creative doings revolve around programming or making semi-abstract/surreal visual art in a variety of mediums. These days it's primarily monochrome ANSI art and freeform analog doodling, but I used to be quite enamored with 3D fractals.
Aside from that I read a lot of intensely serious research/literature/etc., perform optimism-obliterating media analysis, write a lot of tech manuals, and attempt to survive long enough to spit in the eye of any passing giants.
Sometimes I also distract myself with a lifelong love of solo-tabletop/videogame design, but I don't really engage with other entertainment media unless it's weird 80s/90s VHS finds. One exception would be Japanese variety shows and the お笑い comedy scene in general... of which I've been obsessed for decades and could write volumes on (warts and all).
