Does anybody else need to sneeze after eating?
It happens to me almost every morning after breakfast. I finish eating and then break into a sneezing fit.
According to the internet, a full belly sends signals to the sinuses of some people telling them to sneeze. Something something gustatory rhinitis.

The NFC behavior on my Pixel Android 17 phone has recently (last two weeks) changed.
Before, you would tap an NFC with a URL record and, if your phone was unlocked, the browser would open immediately.
Now, I get this notification (similar to iOS).
I can't find any setting to go back to the old behavior. Anyone know how to revert this?

Surely not all Commanders fans are assholes, but one came into the coffee shop I'm at and asked for coffee in the most "kinda polite but completely aggravating" way possible.
Drove me bananas listening to it, and I don't even work here.

I know the solution to this is probably just “write more”, but gaaaah it’s frustrating! Anybody got any tips?

People talk about writing as a tool to organize your thoughts, but I find myself increasingly frustrated at how much I struggle to write versus talk.
I’m writing a blog post right now, and have spent 10 minutes rewriting a paragraph to explain a concept that I could’ve explained to somebody in person, verbally, in about 30 seconds.
I’m at the point where I’m even considering talking into a recorder and then transcribing what I say, as that comes so much more naturally to me.

Celebrating Belgium's win in the only way I, an American, know how: cultural appropriation.
Now that America's out, I'm curious if the excitement around the World Cup will persist.
My experience growing up is that people were vaguely interested in the WC while America was in it, and then stopped watching when they got out.
But people have seemed really invested this World Cup. In Philly at least, every bar and restaurant has been showing the games.
I've several friends who're watching for the first time ever and getting really into it.
I hope the atmosphere remains!
But we need to do more than just hate the machines, we need to love each other too.

I took this photo a few weeks ago in Center City, Philadelphia.
Autonomous robots feel like such a futuristic concept, it’s hard for me to wrap my head around seeing them next to the abject poverty that so many Americans are living in. What do you mean we live in a world with both self-driving robots and homelessness? How does that make any sense?
As I passed by the robot, a man in front of me gave it a good kick, which did give me a laugh and some hope.

Seasonal allergies have been hitting me real hard the last few days!
I'm not quite sure what I'm allergic to, anybody in the #philly area know what allergens have been super up lately?
Whatever it is, it only seems to be on the East Coast, I don't have allergies in WA or CO.
It's 91F degrees right now, in mid April, this is crazy! 🥵
Man, I wish we had a Halal restaurant in the neighborhood, it's impossible to tell these days.
