@dysfun @zzt relatedly, the lack of abstraction/separation in modern linux that running `mount` becomes a hunt&peck link for finding the one you want between cgroups and other things...

I understand why some things like cgroups etc are available, and I even agree with some of the uses! but goddamn it's a complete tooling and design failure in so many places

I'm feeling hopeful that even with the incoming squeeze years we might get back to an early-2010s vitality and richness in foss world
