My husband's answer is that cereal that is soup has it's own name: sroup. He would not comment as to whether the poll question is true or false

@Tattooed_Mummy cereal IS soup

@MamaLake "phump". Like an insect flying into an open flame and immediately catching fire. Maybe because of a recent CVE.

Cereal eaten with milk is Soup

Catgirls can have vegan IP addresses, as a threat

@MamaLake
This is great & I hope you don’t mind but I’ve copied it.
During Covid I came across this & have often used it for me.
These type of things are marvellous for a reset.

These fascists have no intention of putting up the words "blessed are the merciful, for they will be given mercy" in a classroom, no matter how "Christian" they say they are.

So they put up a supposed set of "rules" in a version that is not friendly to the average reader, let alone children. The children are not supposed to understand or believe. They are supposed to learn to obey, without needing to understand.

This is what is working for me right now, what works for you?

1- breathing. Noticing breathing first and then adding a count of 4 on the inhale, holding for a moment and then exhaling for a count of four and holding for just just a moment before continuing on. Our ability to change our breathing pattern can lay the foundation for calming the whole body.
2- looking close, touching something close
Looking far, walking towards the far away thing
3- looking in the pereiphery of our sight, pointing our eyes first to one side and continuing to look towards that side until our body shows some type of calm (a yawn sometimes for me) and then repeating on the other side again until the calm comes or until tired of looking
4- movement. Stretching in bed. Making gentle little joint circles or swaying joints side to side. Walking. Move the cortisol out of oneself by breaking a sweat. Strengthening mobility is a good stress for the body, body knows what to do with good stress.
5- early morning sunlight, bask and let that cortisol lower
6-gratitude. It's a practice. The practice accumulates until it's natural to feel grateful.
7- mantra. When my mind is busy with worry, having something meaningful to repeat to myself keeps my samadhi strong. The 🕉️ always brings me home to myself through my voice. Even humming one low tone can help to calm the parasympathetic nerve.

Stuck scrolling? Try this:
Look away from the screen you are reading this on. Look around your environment and locate the farthest point away from you, look at that space and breathe, inhale and exhale three times.
Look back to the screen, did you miss anything while looking away? Look again to the farthest point away from you. Breathe for 3 breaths again.
Is there anything else you want to do NOW?
