    Three pieces of advice:

    1. Whether or not AI "works," for some nebulous version of "works," isn't the crux of the ethical argument.
    2. When AI seems to "work," remember that slopbros are lying liars who lie. Don't fall for sleight of hand.
    3. When AI seems to "work," ask what hard tasks are getting swept under the rug, what you're not seeing in slopware demos.

@xgranade my coworker vibe coded a dashboard showing widgets moving through the production pipeline, test results, etc. scraped from jira and s3, updated hourly, it was cool. it worked for a week and then randomly stopped updating and it's still broken

@klefstadmyr Because one of my primary objections to AI is that it is a eugenics project — adopting insults that are based on the idea that some people are inherently less intelligent than others reinforces that project rather than challenges it.
