@mos_8502 I'm calling my 2nd attempt dead. I did things in the wrong order. I got too focused on the GUI too early, before the core system was far enough along to support what I was trying to do.

So here starts attempt 3, with a lot more specs handwritten in advance. GUI coming much, much later.
