I was just adorably outsmarted by my cat companion. Our kitchen has 2 entries. To get to the other, there's a curtain to pass through. I was blocking him just to mess with him. After a few tries, he went past the curtain to go to the other entrance. Once he was past there and couldn't see me, I moved to block the other kitchen entrance to continue this game. He didn't show up there, he came in the first entrance.
