@Alice genuinely I feel there are requirements we have not captured for this, and it is causing design confusion. What *exact* outcome are you looking for here? You say death slide, but is that ironic or literal? If ironic, we need to know approximately what the retrieval time will be. If literal, what effect do you want at the end? Are we loading this sucker with fireworks before launching it into the volcano?

@Alice ok I suggest a two-stage solution. Unsure if you can modify the volcano slope side to *be* a proper slide; it's best if you can do at least some minor mods to the slope. We do not want you getting stuck halfway down because the front edge got caught on a sharp bit of rock. If you can be sure to clear your runway, I suggest something sustainable like wood. It would be exciting to put a small ramp at the end so you could catch some air into the lava!
