#ThreeGoodThings #3GoodThings The rainstorms stopped and plants behind our unit went crazy with flowers, so here are three flower pictures to brighten your day.
Today the gardening crew weed wacked the first and last ones down. The hibiscus is still there.
All made with Sony A7R4A camera, Minolta 70-210mm telezoom lens. They're all small crops from very large frames!

A close up of a weed against a green background. The pod in the center has burst open to release white silk-like threads, while other pods clustered around it are in various stages of preparing to burst. Image is marked Copyright (C) 2026 David W. Jones.
A closeup of the pistil and stamen of a red hibiscus flower. Four red extensions at the end hold out round pads. Behind them, yellow clusters of pollen wait for visiting pollinators. Image is marked Copyright (C) 2026 David W. Jones.
A cluster of ten or twelve flower buds, about half of which have yellow flowers just starting to emerge from them. The buds are green, the background is a blurred green. In the lower right part of the image is a small fly clinging to a flower bug. The fly's abdomen has black and white stripes across it. One of the fly's wings is blown flat and can be fully seen. The other wing has been blown vertically and is barely visible. Image is marked Copyright (C) 2026 David W. Jones.
