They sell non-drm ebooks as well, but yeah one must remember that they sell *both* else one might be aggrieved.

I don’t have this fully fleshed out but one specific issue I have with GenAi is in response to the suggestion of using it to make it easier to generate test cases. It does this and I’ll admit that it is a certain kind of convenient. I think that a problem is that it is good enough at this that machinery to manage the number of tests doesn’t have much time or chance to evolve alongside the tests. Honestly it isn’t even about time so much as space for consideration.

yes, establishment Dems will throw me under the bus at the drop of a hat, but progressive Dems are the reason I haven't died yet, and continued Republican control of power will make my life far more precarious than it already is and inevitably lead to more needless suffering and death of those like me :blob_frown:

trans people especially have miniscule political power on our own being just a few percent of the population, so we need people to help protect us using the power they wield

voting isn't the end-all-be-all of exercising our power as a populace, but your vote could change my life, so please, if you feel it worthless to use for yourself, vote for the most progressive candidates you can find :hug_love:

I understand people taking the PHP vulns as an indictment of C (which it is) but i'd also like to call attention to the fact that this is a relatively underfunded team managing decades of legacy software that runs well over half the fucking internet.

The solution isn't to yell at them for using the language they're using. It's to give them the funding they need to improve their processes or if needed rebuild in something memory safe.

Because I don't think we can get the internet to move away from wordpress unless developers start respecting users. And I don't see that happening
