it's also incredibly funny to upload this the day anthropic files their IPO. get fucked, anthropic

we've created a no AI notice that we'll be using to reassure people seeing our trailers and games, with hand drawn lettering and a relaxing cute sleepy fox, and it's also up on itch in multiple formats for anyone to use: https://eniko.itch.io/cute-fox-no-ai-notice

options include with/without fox, opaque/transparent, and 4k, 2160p, 1440p, 1080p, and 720p resolutions

oh great anthropic finally filed its IPO which means the internet is going to be extra insufferable for the next month

Zig uses LLVM right?

i'll do another proper announcement post later around primetime but the no AI notice with cute fox is up on itch now: https://eniko.itch.io/cute-fox-no-ai-notice

well i say everyone but people who used AI aren't allowed to use it (yes the license terms will explicitly mention that)

RE: https://mastodon.gamedev.place/@eniko/117500610438489016

got the made by humans no AI splash screen from @rally and i'll be putting it up on itch under creative commons license later so everyone can use it

Goddamnit

I should've named my business Solipsystems

thinking something like this would be cute. the napping fox signals that it's ok to relax

in fact @jeremyoduber did this right at the start of his latest video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c156GXrgjPw

and i was very glad to see it in his video even though i already know he doesn't use AI

RE: https://mastodon.gamedev.place/@eniko/117500536819906804

in fact i'm going to mock up a concept to commission a cute version of this from an artist right now

tbh if you're someone making videos on YT especially making videos about things you made using coding on YT it might be worthwhile to lead with a "made by humans, no generative AI was used in the creation of this video/game/whatever" splash screen

took me several minutes to find it was AI and then several minutes more scrolling through the watch next recommendations for YT to recommend another video of theirs so i could finally click "do not recommend this channel"

i fucking hate this so much dude

if you come across a YT video titled "Could Ultima III Be Your Next Handheld RPG?" don't bother clicking on it, it's slop code

a relative in the Kansas City area is looking into getting a hearing aid but her GP was exceptionally unhelpful and didn't know how to get one. anyone know how/where to get that done? please tell me so i can pass it on

sorry everyone i'm just having a lot of AI grief right now 🙃

I'm so fucking tired man

Seriously it's like buying it in a shop and going "look at this cool thing I made!"

Mom telling me about a friend of a friend who got a million views on art he posted on deviant art. Click the link, "created with AI tools" 😒

Why are you telling your daughter who has made actual award winning art about this person who made a computer make a picture that a million people without taste looked at?

thinking about reactos. anyone know if that's succumbed to the lure of AI yet
