Had to pick this up!

My calendar alert tells me, that today is the day someone has to eat their shoe. 👟

5 years ago, on the @ohno Radio #Podcast EP10, Eric Hu announced, that today every file on the Internet will be an #NFT. If not, he will publicly eat his shoe. (See the Apple podcast transcript, or listen yourself https://ohnotype.co/blog/ohno-radio-episode-10-eric-hu Minute 1:11:58)

I have no axe to grind with Eric and as far as I know, he is a talented and pleasent guy. I’m mostly asking, how we should hold such boosterism accountable.

In times where Polymarket creates a fake website (Poiymarket) only for paying influencers to pretend winning without disclosing the payment, there should be some oversight or accountability. #Crypto is destroying lives while enriching an already privileged few.

Today at Concerto #Amsterdam

I paced myself and went for the standard black vinyl version. @boardsofcanada #BoardsOfCanada #BoC #Vinyl

I know this has been talked about for a long time, but how is #Apple not able to bring back tabular figures to the finder?
But also, why is this bothering me so much? Should I look into OCD? 😳
#Typography
(I read on Reddit, that some people have tabular figures, my SF Pro installed does support them. Is there a way to activate them?)

Yes, yes and yes 🙌

Thursday @mastodonmigration briefed the idea of a Guardians of the Galaxy parody, depicting inflated animals from the #Portland #protests.
Since I had no time, I passed the digital pencil to @typearture, who came up with an iconic #meme 🐸🦄

Today I was able to create a closer take to the brief. 🦚🎣🐸🦄🐼

After attending #PubConf2025 yesterday, I chatted with a friend that expressed wanting to get of Instagram.
They have been intrigued by me saying, that #Mastodon always has been a pretty #queer space.
Now I’m looking for the right #instance to recommend. But the choices are overwhelming.

Where would a queer, #feminist, intellectual, English language #writer, #educator in arts, secular Jewish, pro Palestinian, gen-X person feel at home?

I’ve got my money’s worth!

This is going to be exciting! #PubConf2025
