My three year old neighbour is standing on his doorstep screaming "i don't want to go out today!" and I'm very much feeling his vibe.
He literally described Tech as the "silver bullet" for our economy. Anyone trying to sell you silver bullets should be treated with extreme caution.
There's a guy on the radio talking about building a "resilient economy" on the back of AI technology.
I've a feeling that interview isn't going to age well.

There's so much to like about this story - the potential recovery of the tree itself, the saving of seedlings from the tree, the distribution of saplings to community groups and charities around the country, the art projects highlighting the need to protect nature and, of course, the fact that those responsible for felling the tree were caught, convicted and imprisoned for their actions.
I think a lot people who either aren't Irish, or are under the age of 40 may not fully appreciate the history behind today's attempted march on the Garvaghy Road in Drumcree. There's some good historical context in this Wikipedia article including the fact that the Orange Order has been inciting violence against Catholics in the area for over 230 years.
I just love how Robert Kraft's attempt to silence supporters of Palestine continues to completely backfire on him. He has probably done more than anyone to bring the plight of the Palestinian people into greater public awareness.
A few months ago I asked my local @greenparty_ie councillor Carolyn Moore if she could see about getting some bike parking outside Tesco in Rathmines.
Yesterday the council installed this!
I think this is the Green Party equivalent of "She fixed the road!"
It's been a messy situation, but the way things are turning out is restoring my faith in humanity.
Trying to silence people who are speaking out for Palestine and the Palestinian people has had the effect of bringing their cause to the forefront of public attention.
I know little about their music but I have enormous respect for Macklemore, Beoga, Lukas Graham, Aaron Rowe and Finneas for the stand that they have collectively taken in support of Palestine and in opposing the Israeli genocide.
Ed Sheeran's support acts are taking a stand alongside #Macklemore

This is just incredible! A search engine that cuts out the bullshit, the ads, the clickbait, the AI slop, and the toenail hygiene products, and returns actual useful information. Hats off to @marginalia!

The Spanish government really seem to be the grownups in the room on so many fronts at the moment
