So a couple weeks ago I unfortunately ended up losing a pretty good water bottle I won during WHY Camp last year because I left it on the Eurostar home on the way back from Deadline. A few hours after I realized it was missing, I sent an email to lost property and they never got back to me after 7 days so I am going to assume it was either stolen or thrown out which is a shame. I really liked that bottle.

I checked on the website to see how much it would be to order a replacement and it costs a ridiculously stupid amount if they were to ship to the UK. The bottle was a thermo one by Dopper https://shop.dopper.com/bottles and it'd be nice if I could get a new one without having to ship it to the UK somehow.

After missing two planned party deadlines, the Inércia 2026 invitation is finally here!

My work on this demo only ended up happening over the course of the past week when I finally had the motivation to work on a 3D asset. While the topology is quite a bit rough, it seemed to fit into the demo fine, and I'm quite happy with how it turned out.

Come to Inércia in December! Portugal is a beautiful country and Almada is a comfy city where the party is being held.

I am looking forward to seeing my demoscene friends again soon, and even if you can't make it, we have remote entries and a livestream to enjoy!

Something that has continuously bothered me about the discord mobile app is the button you tap to jump to the bottom of a chat. WHY DOES IT ALWAYS SCROLL THROUGH EVERYTHING? When I tap that button, it should instantly jump there, not spend 30 seconds scrolling through every single message!!!

Treated myself and Freja to some Finnish chocolate orange cake for my birthday, it was very delicious!

So myself and Freja are thinking about coming to 40c3 this year, but both of us have a very small budget and would need help figuring out accomodation. If anyone has any suggestions, knows anyone we could crash with or somewhere we can get a discount on a hotel please let me know.

I'm also considering travelling in to Germany before Christmas because of how bad transport connections are from the UK after Christmas.

We haven't started to plan anything yet, but it would be nice if we could both attend together this year.

EDIT: Freja probably won't be able to attend due to how much travel costs to get to Hamburg from Finland, on top of not being able to budget a hotel room. If anyone is interested, I will research an airbnb for 3 and I am happy to split the cost if Freja can't make it.

the sooner everyone moves off discord for chat the less annoyed I'll be at being required to pay discord money to join more servers. Discord is literally the only chat client I am aware of that has a hard limit for this.
