We have restored access to the affected nodes but we're still experience performance degradation.

We will slowly bring services back online once we identify it is safe to do so.

Update from our hosting provider:

"We would like to inform you that the issue has been escalated to our Cloud Engineering team, who are actively investigating and working toward a resolution.

At this time, we do not have an estimated time for resolution. However, we will provide you with an update as soon as more information becomes available."

Mastodon instances are also affected.

Our provider is actively working on the affected node.

Gotosocial and Peertube instances will be unresponsive while the maintenance is ongoing.

We apologize for the inconvenience of this unplanned downtime.

Our hosting provider has acknowledged the issue and is currently actively investigating the cause.

We're investigating a high latency issue between some of the nodes on our network which might cause slowdowns for certain clients.

We believe this is an issue with our server provider.

We will let you know when we know more.

The issue has been resolved and all instances should now be back online and operational.

Please reach out to us if you notice any issues and we’ll take a look as soon as possible.

We’ll be taking some time to write up a post-mortem with more details on what happened and will share it soon.
