ARTICLE 122. Women in the U.S.S.R. are accorded equal rights with men in all spheres of economic, state, cultural, social and political life.

The possibility of exercising these rights is ensured to women by granting them an equal right with men to work, payment for work, rest and leisure, social insurance and education, and by state protection of the interests of mother and child, pre-maternity and maternity leave with full pay, and the provision of a wide network of maternity homes, ... /5

Let that sink in:

ARTICLE 120. Citizens of the U.S.S.R. have the right to maintenance in old age and also in the case of sickness or loss of capacity to work.

- alexandra kollontai - the woman question

I have to admit that i decry the absence of german sources for actual marxist content a lot but i have to admit as well that there is no actual marxism on the fedi to be honest. That is a huge problem.

Here are some book suggestions. You can reed them for free or listen to them on youtube mostly:

To understand the ongoing palestinian genocide:
- frantz fanon - wretched of the earth

Why trump is a symptom:
- michael parenty, black shirts and reds

Yesterday, I've learned about Gabriel Rockhills book "who paid the pipers of western marxism?" in this episode of rev left radio.

Rev Left Radio: Western Marxism and The Imperial Theory Industry https://revolutionaryleftradio.libsyn.com/western-marxism-and-the-imperial-theory-industry

Its really good! Please give it a listen! The podcast is also great in general!

But the book seems to be the actual kicker: it describes how western #marxism was shaped as a weapon against #socialism as a whole and promoted by the empire itself.

The author explains it well.

I might need to update on my current reading habits and political ideology:

- washington bullets - v. prashad
- black shirts & reds - m. parenti
- imperialism, the highest stage of capitalism - v.i. lenin
- left communism, an infantile disorder - v.i. lenin
- foundations of marxism leninism - j. Stalin

From these, i derived the following facts:
- monopoly capitalism is satan
- the cia is worse than any spy movie
- the reich was an experiment by capitalists
- nato is a covert continuation

Finally! I managed to get the custom instance option into the #peertube #kodi plugin! :)🎉

I might wait with the official release since someone was so nice to make a PR for favorite instances! I'll likely try to merge that wirst.

But you can git clone the repo from https://forge.giftedmc.com/haui/plugin.video.pt

It's probably a good idea to do another #introduction since people change over time, ideally.

I'm haui. I help people & build things that help people. Big #foss enthusiast, #sysadmin by day and #hacktivist at night.

I think all people (and animals) are born equal and should stay that way.

I oppose #capitalism and embrace alternative systems. I dont care about #corporatedemocracy and manipulated "free speech".

I want thirst, hunger and homelessness gone, for everyone, by any means necessary.

Minus schlafen produzieren wir also 1:34 Minuten KEINEN Mehrwert fürs inlandskapital.

Aber immerhin leben wir nicht in #china !!!1elf

Ich habe bisher wenig offen politische Projekte auf der #gpn23 gefunden. Mehr dazu auf https://blog.giftedmc.com

Updating an charging up my two project devices. #oneplus6 with #postmarketos edge and #dcromapad2 running #ubuntu on #riscv for #fosdem tomorrow!

I‘m really looking forward to meeting some of my heroes of free software, hardware (eg yuning liang) as well as the free social web (@Gargron)

Feel free to approach me. I‘ll be wearing a blue led nametag with my handle.

I tried using #wled on a #xiao #esp32c3 but BOY is it hard to flash it the first time. Its not straightforward at all compared to other things imo. There apparently is a webflasher that only uses #chrome if I understand correctly.

Nearly done with listening back the whole year of 2024 in @25admins and I‘ve definitely learned more sysadmin stuff than in 20 years of sysadmin work. The density of good advice is shocking. Thanks guys! :)
