@arstechnica At least in Germany, SUVs are all the rage. And most of the German car makers prefer large, petrol guzzling cars over small EVs, because they make more money on these. On top of that they lobby against the "Verbrenner-Aus" in the EU, that is supposed to reduce CO2 and make the looming climate catastrophe a bit less catastrophic.
@arstechnica It's really difficult here in Canada to get small vehicles nowadays... not just in the USA. I have a 2015 Honda Fit and I dread the day it dies...
