It’s a gorgeous day in Oakland. A vintage convertible Porsche painted with a mural goes by w/ 2 guys jamming hard to Bobby Brown’s Every Little Step. They see me smiling, & they slow the car down, point at me gleefully while singing & dancing, & then drive off. What a joyful moment!

I’ve been rewatching Terminator: Sarah Conner Chronicles. It aired 2008-2009. It takes place in 1999 then 2007, with flash-forwards to 2027 (2 years from now).

It’s interesting to watch because a lot of the “futuristic” stuff exists today (like AI being prevalent & deep faking).

Not sure when they put this up, but just noticed the new BART train color line signage.

Unfortunately, great collaborators I enjoy working with were hit. I’m sad but hopeful they find something new quickly.

One of my highlights tonight was hanging with Bryan Veloso tonight. We definitely had our “old man yells at cloud” moment of reminiscing about the old days of web vs what it is now. “Kids these days don’t know what we went through to make this happen!”

I still remember the time I was on a ferry and some dude bro near me pointed at Alcatraz and exclaimed to his fellow dude bro:
