Most of the time I've see people talk about consensual non-consent (CnC) they include that the participants should always have a safeword/signal that stops the play.
It irritates me to no end, as that directly contradicts what I think CnC is: irrevocable consent to specified acts over an agreed-upon timeframe.
After all, adults give irrevocable consent all the time for non-sexy things. Why not for sexy things?
