"Ho-lyyy shiiit..." she shook her head. "Ok, ok, so like, you'd be making a zerg, just to come fuck me with."

"Affirmative. Would be very small resource expenditure, can easily justify. Recommend what humans classify as 'Zergling', 'Roach', or 'Hydralisk', but larger, 'Lurker' or 'Queen', would also be small enough, though Queen intelligence would complicate direct control."

She was momentarily confused by the idea of giving a queen a penis, considering it also had an ovipositor, but she reminded herself that, like all Zerg, Queens were still technically not sexually reproductive, having the ability to aesexually spawn larvae which were like any other, and induce growth into any morphology they had... She knew way too much about how zerg worked.

"I uh... I don't know how I feel about you mind controlling some lower-levep zerg for this... but wait, if I came to you, how would that work?"

"I have many tendrils, which are individually adaptable. I would simply re-adapt one for you."

"Ok so like... You'd pick me up, and like..." she suddenly imagined being hugged from all sides by tendrils, while one of them penetrated her. It made her shiver, and she was a bit surprised by the fact that the horny part of her desperately wanted that...

"So uh... I come do that... You get to experience, uh, mating, and then I come back?"

"Yes. I would ensure that you are back st your base in time for your next check in. Failing to do so would create a diplomatic incident, and jeopardize the treaty."

"And you promise not to infest me or put a parasite in me or something?"

"Assimilation without proper proof of your consent would create a diplomatic incident, and be counterproductive: humans only useful to swarm because of intelligence and psychic capability. No benefit if not cooperative, potential danger of rebellion: risks another Brood War. If you ever do wish to join us, however, please let me know. However, until you do so, I will not make any attempt to assimilate or symbiotize you."

The way Zilch described turning her into a zerg was a little unnerving: she knew that pretty much all intelligent zerg considered being turned into one a good thing, and she knew Zilch wanted to infest her on some level. Then again, he wasn't lying: there were a lot of safeguards in place to make sure they didn't infest anyone, and if they really wanted to, there was no way she'd be able to escape.

Still, she was baffled that she was actually thinking of doing this with Zilch... But her next transfer-out opportunity wasn't for another few months, and despite the loneliness of being on this base, she didn't want to call for an early extraction... and also, no one would know if she just kind of, ran off and had sex with an alien... Damn she was horny... Damn it even thinking about what Zilch was offering to do was making her hornier...

She took a deep breath. "Fuck it. Where should I meet you?"

"Spawning Chamber near outpost." Zilch was projecting images of an overhead view she recognized, albeit with eyes that saw infrared and ultraviolet, as well as a cave entrance through the eyes of a drone. "Travel seven kilometers north by northeast."

"Hokay... Yeah... I uh... I'll see you in a bit then."

She went back to her office, logging and transmitting a note that she would be leaving the base to observe Zilch at a site, which wasn't a false report, just missing the key detail. She pulled on her environmental gear, a thick bodysuit like most ghosts wore. She went outside and pulled her hoverbike out of the garage, basically a vulture with scanning and transmission equipment instead of heavy ordinance. She opened the gate and rode out into the swamp.

The zerg had infested every part of the ecosystem, even the trees and dirt, so she was basically riding over a less-active variant of creep the whole time, glad no part of her bike had to touch the ground.

She pulled her vulture up outside the cave Zilch had shown her, parking it on a nearby rock outcropping, where the creep hadn't bothered to grow.

Nearby, drones slithered across the ground like manta rays, tending to some structure. She saw the heads of some zerglings look up from where they were resting nearby, idly acknowledging her presence by watching her.

The ground was squishy and soft under her boots, and she tried not to think about what she was stepping on as she walked into the wide mouth if the cave, past a trail of small broodlings, which moved in and out like ants.

The walls were not natural shapes, they'd been carved into strange geometries, some functional, some so strange that if they served a purpose she wasn't able to guess it.

Finally, the cave opened to a massive open-roofed chamber, most of which was taken up by a single hulking form, the sight of which made her slow down. A massive structure of flesh, over 10 meters of which rose over the edge of the pit, with parts that pulsated slowly as its many lungs rose and fell in sequences.

Several of its eyes rolled to look at her.

She hadn't seen Zilch's actual body in a while, long enough to forget just how big an overlord was.

She knew the name xenobiologists gave the original species, Gargantis Proximae, referred to the size of the giant floating brains, before they willingly joined the swarm. Zilch was the result of centuries of manipulation of their physical form, but still retained the “floating” and especially “giant” aspect of its ancestors.

As she approached, more of its body came into view, a head that protruded only slightly from the bulk, with a mouth big enough for her to fit inside, with an incountable number of tiny teeth made for filter-feeding and grinding up whatever other soft biomatter it was fed. She knew Zilch likely wasn't physically capable of eating her, but her brain couldn't help but acknowledge the fact that he could at least try, if overlords were at all aggressive.

Lower in the pit, it had several leg-like appendages, all ending in clasping claws like a crustacean's, which made up more of their bulk the closer they were to the front, the largest pair hanging another 10 meters down, with a few more above it at smaller sizes, down to two which hung below that massive circular mouth, made for placing food inside it, one of the few physical tasks an overlord could still do on its own.

All around them, drones and broodlings were split between tasks around the cave and tending to the overlord, some crawling over its surface, gently cleaning and inspecting it. She was one broodling suddenly change direction, skittering to a different spot, gently scratching at it, then returning to its cleaning.

Overlords didn't even scratch their own itches. They had swarms to do that for them.

She'd once been told that a zerg hive cluster should be thought of as its own entity. The combat forms were like immune cells, the drones and broodlinge like blood, the structures like organs, and creep like a connective tissue keeping it all together.

    Zilch was the brain.

A single zergling, to the hive, was like a small section of a finger, uncomfortable to lose, but no great tragedy to regrow. When an entire hive was lost however, the zerg lamented, as humans would the loss of a companion. The swarm itself was a much larger entity, made up of hives, and to it, this hive was like a limb. Remembering that put both their views on the wars that they'd been through, and the nature or the zerg themselves, into perspective.

Zilch was literally the brain of this being, with little distinction between itself, the zerg crawling the lair, and the numerous lesser overlords and zerg it had spawned outside of the cave. It had intelligence that in some ways surpassed humans, and was lacking in others, she'd found, though its mind was still incredibly alien, nearly as much as its huge body before her.

As she looked over its body, more of reflex than full intent to study, she could literally feel the overlord looking over her. This close, they had some sense of each other's emotions, without broadcasting, and she could tell it had similar misgivings. Her body was alien to it, lacking the elegance of the zerg form it was used to in every living being. She could tell it was examining her bone structure, the shape of her organs, the unorganized micro-biome on the skin of her face as she removed her helmet.

It found her curious, but couldn't help but think that great improvements could be made. It knew firsthand how fragile the unarmored human was, how sturdy and versatile it could be as a zerg bioform, the desire to make something with fearsome claws out of something easily shredded by those of a zergling.

    She winced slightly.

    It winced back.

"Apologies." It's mouth hadn't moved, wasn't capable of speech, it was simply so clear in her head now that it could project the illusion that it was speaking, "Had not intended to send implications. Merely considering experiences with human species."

"...I had wondered if you'd fought humans before." she admitted.

"Few times. Was set to mind hive-clusters. Most attackers were protoss. Fought directly in large-scale battle only once."

"I'm assuming that's where you saw the weakness of human flesh?"

The overlord was silent. It considered her for a moment, before reaching forward with a massive appendage, bigger than her body. Part of her knew she should be scared, that her instinct should be to move away, but she could feel its intentions. It had no desire to harm her, only... Connection? It wasn't lonely by any means, merely interested in exploring a different sort of companionship.

Its claw touched her gently, incredibly soft for something so massive, and opened, tendrils sliding out of it. She flinched as they slid up to her head, but quickly calmed: another presence was now asserting itself in her mind.

    She would not be harmed.

    She relaxed.

    She remembered...

Freefall. The feeling of weightlessness from deep space would not subside until it reached the surface. It pulled its eyes, mouth, and other orifices tightly closed as the air turned to plasma, searing its carapace. It could not slow down.

As the fires of reentry subsided, it opened it's auxiliary eyes, looking down at the blackened clouds rapidly approaching. Bright lights flashing within, as it felt the adrenaline of combat forms ducking and weaving within. Inside its shell, the hive-tending forms shivered anxiously, but it commanded them to be still.

Moments later, it broke through the cloud lair, and the strange square spires of the terran city came into view, smoke beginning to rise.

On a wide range of radio frequencies, it heard the voice of the human known as Valerian Mensk...

"If you have not evacuated, seek shelter immediately. Stay away from exterior walls and windows, and barricade the doors if you can. They are not here for you. Stay out of their way and this will all be over soon."

All around it, it could feel the screams of the other flying forms, followed by silence as the cannons and rockets tore them apart. Dominating it all was a cold rage, the swarm directed by the pure and absolute hatred of one human in that city.

It had barely reached the building tops when there was a bright flash, gamma rays searing its side, followed by a blast that ripped away several appendages. It managed to recover, turning to see a forming mushroom cloud.

Another voice on the human military band, "Damnit Minsk, this is your own capital!!" the human known as Jim Raynor shouted.

The Hated One spoke, "I told you Jim, I would rather see this sector burn than hand it over to the likes of you."

In an isolated part of the swarm, another spike of human rage, the remaining humanity of the infested terrans crying out as they themselves at the silos.

    Death. Destruction. Pain.

    Hatred.

...she was back in the cave.

She pulled away slightly, hand to the side of her face... That wasn't her memory, but it had been so vivid, the feeling of being an overlord...

"You were at the last battle of Korhol."

    "Correct."

Most humans didn't realize of the zerg were thinking entities, within the hivemind. Even talking to them, she had tried not to think of the conflicts they'd had with them while she was here: she hadn't thought of what their experiences with human warfare must be like. Certainly, the zerg did immense violence, even to each other at times, like in the Brood Wars, but Zilch had been running logistics support to one of the bloodiest battles of the Second Great war. It had experienced a defensive nuclear strike, with no armor to cover its bare hide.

It brought a question to mind. "Zilch, are the zerg afraid of humans?"

"Fear not something we cultivate. Wary. Disturbed. Pity. Uncoordinated, you bring such power to bare in your rages, yet your bodies so fragile." Zilch ran its tendrils along her side, she didn't flinch this time. "Each of you is your own overlord, but without a hive mind to guide you, you are not united in battle. Even still, many suffer and die, combat role and non-combat alike, for leaders you cannot hear the thoughts of, who lie to you. No zerg leader lies to their underlings. Overmind, Daggoth, Kerrigan, Zagara... We live to serve them, but all understand truth of why they do things, their will is ours. Ordered to die, but never told lies. Memories preserved in the hivemind, never forgotten, never alone, never without purpose, never truly ending. Have felt the sting of human weapons, have died and been born anew, have seen worlds destroyed and regrown countless times. Warfare unproductive. Swarm leaders see proven imperfection of old ways, no longer interested in blind expansion, rule by dominance alone, looking inward now, building perfection within. Humans present threat, but continued conflict only brings destruction, no progress. Kerrigan left Zagara with wish of cooperation, understanding of vision, value in peace, am loyal to Kerrigan."

"Huh..." she considered his explanation. Kerrigan had shaken the swarm to its core, when she was first infested and barely under control, during the Brood Wars when she'd killed nearly all of the other zerg leaders, afterwards when she'd retreated and made her brood mothers, the time of her absence when the broods had fended for themselves, and most importantly after her return to their leadership. She'd flooded the hivemind with a wide range of emotions, from hatred and sadness to love and sympathy, and she'd ensured they would grow beyond their old ways of constant spreading rather than reverting to them. In the process, they'd learned a huge amount about humanity from both her, and the humans they fought against and alongside.

    "So, your interest in me...?"

"Curiosity. Human female with psychic potential presents unique opportunity for understanding. Can gain insight for growing zerg culture, cooperation with humans. Also, I enjoy our conversations."

"I see... and what do you think you'll gain from having sex with me?"

"Insight. Understanding. Inroads for cooperation. May be useful for both building culture, and for continued relations with humans. More personally, would like to experience the pleasure, would like to see you experience pleasere." Its tendrils slid gently along the side of her face, "Am aware that humans can experience intense pleasure, nervous systems overwhelmed by stimulation. Will attempt to cause orgasms more intense and prolonged than any human partner capable of, experiment and learn how to bring you to the edge of loss of consciousness, without going over, completely saturating your body and mind with sexual pleasure, until your mating urges are completely satisfied."

She blushed, shivering at its words. That wasn't dirty talk, it was a statement of fact. It wasn't just planning to ravage her, it was planning on absolutely pleasuring her, every inch, every little need. She couldn't stop imagining herself writhing in intense, prolonged orgasm, wrapped in those tendrils... And fuck, was that what she needed right now.

"Wow... Wow... Hokay." she blinked, squirming a bit in her suit, suddenly noticing the lingering stickiness between her legs, the renewed twitching of her insides, "I guess we should get started on that then. How do you uh... How do you want to do this?"

The tendrils slid over her body, "We should start by removing your clothing."

She reached up to unclasp her suit, but felt the tendrils already there, undoing them faster than she could. Her blush deepened as the massive creature brought another massive forelimb to her side, its tendrils wrapping behind her back, and she was very conscious of the fluid wettening the crotch area inside of her suit.

Before she even realized, it was all loose, and being gently pulled down her sides, leaving her breasts and everything above them exposed, her skin moist from sweat. She shivered as the form-fitting suit slid off her arms, but not because she was cold: the chamber was warm and humid, perhaps from such a massive crewture in its center, or whatever the zerg had built here.

She barely had time to register her suit being peeled off of her hips, it was happening so efficiently, yet so gently. She tensed up at the feeling of those tendrils wrapping around her back and sides, beneath her arms, holding her up as it slid her suit further down.
