"but cars are useful—" the comparison is more about what they do to society, and what cars have done to society is very bad!

Oct 15, 2026, 10:14 PM@lune cars are only so prolific because car companies bought up the streetcars and destroyed them, to make society as car-dependent as possible. Cars separate and isolate people from each other. Cars would pump lead into the air as long as they could get away with it. Yeah.
