Hate to say it but Toy Story 5 was so far my least favorite of the series.

The main underlying theme was relevant but the rest of the story was just abysmal. Story-telling wise. Not necessarily the subject.

It did not capture the same essence as the previous films and until now I was honestly convinced the one that came before this one was my least favorite but this one takes the cake.

I kind of hated it tbh. It was a disrespect to the first 3 and the scene direction/writing were very obviously not the same people who did those same movies.

Was this new one all trash? No, it had it's moments, but when put all together, I didn't feel like I watched a Pixar movie. It was more like watching a puppeteer using the corpses of original characters and winging something for shits and giggles. You know, to make money.

I'm sorry to those that worked on it and I'm sure those that did worked hard on it. The animation and art were top tier but because they were working with something that was really already a closed book, I think they were setup to fail. It's sad to see what capitalism will do just to make a quick buck. Very shameful of #Disney
