Sep 9, 2026, 8:38 PMEvery #Apple event the comments always flow in favor of small #iPhone. It's a case of a very very loud minority. The iPhone mini peaked at about 3% of overall sales. Small is also extremely niche with Samsung and other manufacturers.

@bryan I get the appeal of it for sure, but the utility Apple has been working for years to enable with these devices is directly at odds with the small screen size.
I personally don't want an iPhone mini-sized device but I *do* think my typing has gotten objectively worse as the devices have gotten larger
Sep 9, 2026, 10:46 PM@zcutlip have you not tried the shifted keyboard? This is about the size of an iPhone mini. (I would prefer to switch to two hands than use this one-handed to be honest.)
I’ve noticed many using dictation more frequently as well.
