@bloor Decided to make myself "one quick crochet shawl, nothing fancy!" seven years ago. My office has been overtaken by yarn, everything in our flat comes in crochet and everyone is afraid (or excited) I'll crochet them something as a gift. Half my closet is shawls at this point. I beg people to take them off me. Except for the two dozen favorites, of course. The tomcat has a 100-Euro real wool cardigan he likes to sleep in (he crawls into the sleeve).
