Something interesting is coming up in a few days. April 17-19 2026 is where the second derivative of the Doppler shift is zero, between Earth and Venus. This is related to Earth-Venus-Earth #EVE communications attempts coming up in October 2026.

This is the inflection point of the rate-of-change curve. In other words, it's where the Doppler shift is accelerating fastest, before starting to decelerate. We can see that in our link analysis! Here it is:

Green curve that goes up, peaks, then starts to fall back down. This is where the rate of change of Doppler shift between Earth and Venus maxes out then starts decreasing. Neat!
