"KDE is going full AI" [screenshot of some guy giving a talk no one liked]

"look, KDE won't even say they're not a nazi bar" [link to toots where they say they're not a nazi bar]

"KDE harbors nazis. they did ban the nazi, and the nazi wasn't involved with KDE in the first place, but still"

has everyone lost their goddamn minds. what is this even supposed to accomplish? you are effectively punishing a project for banning a nazi!

Announcing #tooter 1.4.8 for #SailfishOs ... I've been clunking refactoring out quickly, so you might expect a bunch of updates. Sadly, only available via github since other channels are overwhelmed https://github.com/poetaster/harbour-tooter/releases 1. reduces visibility of action buttons, 2. proper download process feedback, 3. minor usability fixes.

Oof, announcing v. 2.0.57 of Fahrplan for #SailfishOs with an new backend for Netherlands transport and revived Finish journey planning! While I was at it I updated a bunch of translations for #tooter, which led to some bug fixes ... Both coming to chum soon, Fahrplan up on open repos... Did some soldering, too. Am I bagged!

After listening to Toe, had to go here https://battles.bandcamp.com/track/flora-fauna I was building the live video (3 cam) system on the good ship Stubnitz ( 2003/4) and while berthed in Newcastle, Battles did a really nice live set. They sound the same live as ever.

Partner wordle. The english wasn't so funny, but the German...

Sigh. First the American toll war cuts my sales in half. Now the European toll war double my BOM costs. How the hell are we little guys supposed to make a buck. All of the downsides for the little guy AND the consumer and ... what's the point?

Shit. Just discovered how wasteful, bitwise, #tooter is. Sigh. Work to do.

Yes, they have returned. Antenna of an alien civilization. Probing our weakness. ... It will not be long.

U know I'm a #SailfishOs geek. Bet you didn't know Commoders' ceo is https://commodore.net/why-a-flip-phone/ fucking cool.

I should probably stick to teckno. And drop in another drum machine. Noodle jazz, all the timing is Grids and the noodle is inserting phrases at semi-stochastic (ie. mix of attenuated pulses from the rack) intervals. It's a strange machine. The noodle semi-stochastic sequencer driven by MI grids and playing an MI braids synth and Framedrum.#poetastersTonetoys

Sometimes I feel really silly. Finally having found redfrik's home page (HOW did I miss it?) at https://fredrikolofsson.com I did some reading and found https://github.com/lfnoise/sapf @neauoire i wonder if this is familiar to you?

Although I'm just a bit exhausted of #mutableInstruments code and need to go play durms, it really is inspiring that my old FOSS bones and stubborn belief things should be made accessible actually bears fruit. Rich Heslip, who inspired me to build drum machines recently started using the plaits 1.2 https://github.com/rheslip/2HPico-Eurorack-Module-Hardware with the intention of going ALL FM (sixop engine). Which of course was eased by Vadims help on that version of Plaits. He's been working on https://github.com/ledlaux/duna-pico2-drumsynth very cool.

Finally, a quiet moment to catch up on eating potato chips.

Jeepers. My librepay income jumped to 9 cents a week! I can retire in about 986 years! Who'da thunkk?!?

@aeva I'd lost track of what you are developing with? My last foray into touch screen foo and realtime audio was SDL2 with QT for ui.

Have some ambient shows/recordings coming up so I dusted off a prynth box https://prynth.github.io/ from 2018... Supercollider performance kit. Had to replace the audio card and add a button... Includes a webfrontend for file management or live coding.

@aras I'm sure you've seen this and the code is still coming, but it certainly looks promising!? https://trianglesplatting.github.io/

Phew. Someone asked me if I could make a midi enabled version of billow. Well, it works. Has two modes. Normal, 6 note (or normal play) control which works with long tapes and a midi mode which works with the 5 volt input (phone charger will do) and tape loops. Only tape loops in the pico controlled mode.

I hate cat pics. Unless they're robot cats. Can someone PLEASE identify this creature!

@neauoire I know it's heterodox, but, do youz have a cassette deck on the boat? A turntable?!?!? I've been making mix tapes. From records. I'd send one.
