if one of your selling point as a privacy focused service is "swiss privacy" or "eu based", you're not trustworthy

If your security and privacy relies on your underlying state(s) which you cannot reliably control, you're not private, just oblivious

There's no way am making an introduction post only 4 months in and not 8 or more. Chat is this real?

Hewwoo !! Am Lyna, but you can call me Lyn <3. Am a 21yo transfem catgirl coming from the Land of the Beheaders (France) :neocat_knives:

My interests range from decentralized systems, software engineering, reverse-engineering, writing, $whatever_interest_i_have_at_the_moment, all the way up to girls,,, :neocat_pleading:

I also like blood :neocat_angel_pleading:, some call me a vampire :3 Feel free to give me any excess blood you may have, I will gladly keep it safe. No worries, I can be trusted around your blood :neocat_pleading: I definitely would not keep it in vials nor drink it :neocat_3c: (Note: blood carries diseases, I strongly advise against playing with someone else's unless you are absolutely sure it is safe to do so)

May come to realize that I am weird as fuck, this is expected.

I have a nice taste of AuDHD :cat_is_blob_and_disabled:, executive dysfunction and Borderline Personality Disorder™

Also, I am a control freak.

For the record I am ace :neocat_flag_ace:, please avoid being sexual with me.

I mostly shitpost, but when not, I will rent about random tech stuff, be gay or be depressed :3

Anyway, don't be afraid to chat (or flirt :neocat_pleading:) with me !! I will not bite (unless you ask for it nicely :3) (Tho please do not expect a response, my social energy reserves are extremely low (or rather do not expect me to be able to keep up))

fedi what's better? using bare SMS or RCS but at the cost of using the Google message app?

GrapheneOS seems to have some settings regarding that too

Now really is not the moment to send me follow requests. If you see this and decided to follow anyway, prepare for a swarm of negative posting, including family stuff, mental health stuff and more coming your way.

Consider yourself warned

welp chat, we got Linus torvalds himeself vibecoding linux kernel patches before gta 6

https://feed.itsfoss.com/link/24361/17426094/torvalds-used-ai-fix-kernel-bug

going to our very own stuff, so relying on a decentralized DNS, away from "modern" internet, would certain hurt a lot. As it would mean loosing access to everything currently existing, however one could have proxies for stuff that needs current internet infra, like banks.

Our fedi instances, matrix, all runing on decentralized infrastructure, starting with DNS

the current internet is way to centralized around big corps, and we can't have that.

we really should start relying on our own internet and stuff. Running our own root tlds, or better, create a decentralized one, where no one really is in control, at least not alone.

every single person i know who switched to linux

- likes it more then windows
- has one baffling bug that makes no sense they have no idea how to fix and cannot find info about online (partially cause of the death of google search)

and yes, this includes me

transitioning is easy as a dev/s, it's just about:
- naming things (yourself/yourselves)
- cache invalidation (telling ppl you changed identity)

I may actually implement that as a silly webapp first, then as something proper once I've got a working poc

RE: https://catgirl.center/notes/ap1qtqu10whk1782

The ideal breakdown tracker would

- allow to click a single button to register the end of a breakdown
- have an intensity toggle
- have notes (text, voice and or screenshots)
- context tags (being at an event, being with family or friends, relationships etc..)
- post breakdown effects (dissociation, will of self-harm)
- estimated duration
- exports data to make charts (very good to give to my therapist I think)
- reminders cuz I forget to log those a lot

Does any entities here have an app or a reliable way to track their mental health? Ideally it would track mood and breakdowns

Currently I just track everything in a matrix room, which is far from ideal.
