They can't even be original, this is just the apocalypse question all over again

can anyone recommend me any writing or literature on hormonal cycles and mood effects/other symptoms in trans women?

TIL about the Olivia Hill rule.

rpgmuseum.fandom.com/wiki/No_f…

It starts "If you're a fascist, you're not welcome to play this game. It's against the rules."

As you can imagine, it causes fascists and adjacents to out themselves.

This article is pretty good, though I'm going to pre-empt well-actualizing reply flies by acknowledging that it doesn't address how stimulants are often used to manage symptoms of neurodivergence (I do not just mean "in order to fit into what this capitalist production line society has declared to be neurotypical", which is more or less what the article's already saying, I am also referring to people like me who sometimes need stimulants to handle basic tasks like feeding myself)

Pro tip: Always open a direct message with what you need/want instead of just a "hey"

why do they call it fedi when we spend all our time on it đi phá? :thonking:

why does the part of laptops where your forearm goes feel so uncomfortable. it's like these are tailor-made to be carpal tunnel machines wtf

ListenBrainz putting "our datasets are AI Ready, just grab all the information!!" right next to "Ethical Forever" is SO fucking funny and them bragging that Cory "uwu I need the bobot to turn on spellcheck for me" is on their parent organization's board is even funnier. Welp.

scientists are doing too much, this is easy.

Simply:
1) stop climate change, deforestation, etc
then
2) become a giant tortoise

Alright, I'm in debt and need all the help I can get to have these loans paid off and be able to support myself and my family. Anything helps. This one is a marathon rather than a sprint, anything you can give over time gets chunks of my debt taken care of.

This #BandcampFriday I implore you not to miss out on Venus Kii Thomas' phenomenal work!

The thing about actual "necessary evils" is, understanding their necessity for the wellbeing of people who need them to survive isn't mutually exclusive of naming the evil. I'd argue it in fact makes it more important bc we can more easily identify what barriers are making these evils "necessary" and figure out different ways to fill those needs.

If you argue against calling out evils bc you think they're necessary, you don't care about the people, you just want to avoid guilt by association 🤷🏻‍♀️
